The Jewish Jesus: Suffering Servant

In Psalm 22, King David described the violent form of death Jesus would suffer hundreds of years later. He was just one of many Jewish writers who prophesied the death and resurrection of the Messiah.  For murderers and thieves, it was the ultimate punishment. But for a Jewish man who claimed to be the Messiah, it was the ultimate sacrifice.
