"Passion" Score to be performed as a Symphony--Rome premiere
If any of you saw "The Passion of the Christ" last year, you know how powerful of a movie it is. Much of the power would not have been as pronounced had it not been for the music that underlined all the scenes, composed by John Debney. As was anticipated a while back, Debney has recalibrated the score into a symphony to be performed in Rome on July 6, 2005, and hopefully will be touring around the world in the near future. Here is an interview with Debney about his music in relation to the movie and with his new symphonic arrangement of his composition.
